Yes, green tea contains naturally-occurring caffeine, but less than black tea and coffee. Speaking of tea, green tea leaves just so happen to be Paul’s favourite leaf for doing his tea leaf reading (tasseography). His biggest problem with getting a nice accurate reading, however, continues to be the unrelenting ocean currents. He just can’t work out how to keep the leaves in one place, they always float away before he can do his intense mystical readings. To get around this problem, for a while Paul did readings on tea bags, but the complete lack of mystique or allure was disastrous for business and he was forced to borrow heavily from local organised crime syndicates (Paul has since been down a tentacle).
